ASRock Unleashes Hyper OC Series of Overclocking-Oriented Mainboards

ASRock is thought to be an innovator in the development of hardware know-hows. The Computex 2016 came as no exclusion: the company introduced a lineup of overclocked mainboards which joined Hyper OC series. Initially, the lineup consisted of three models – H170 Pro4/Hyper, B150M Pro4/Hyper & H110M-DS/Hyper; further on, it will be replenished by three other models – Fatal1ty H170 Performance/Hyper, Fatal1ty B150 Gaming K4/Hyper & B150A-X1/Hyper.



As seen from the codenames, the motherboards are based on Intel B150, H170 and H110 chipsets which employ ASRock Hyper BCLK Engine controller; it overclocks Intel Skylake CPUs by means of BCLK alteration, without dislocating other components. The new-comers support the installation of superfast DDR4 RAM, graphics cards with PCI-e 3.0 x16 interfaces as well as voluminous drives (including Ultra M.2).

Together with a famous overclocker Vince Lucido EVGA company has prepared EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti K|NGP|N Hydro Copper GAMING (11G-P4-6799-KR) – an innovative video card, which is able to meet expectations of the most affluent and exacting gamers.

 

The novelty is based on the NVIDIA GP102 (3,584 CUDAs) graphics processor, featuring the 1,582/1,695 MHz frequency pattern, which overcomes reference rates of 1,480/1,582 MHz. Sapphire Unveils Small-Sized R9 285 2GB GDDR5 ITX Compact Edition Graphics Cards

Optimized energy efficiency offered by AMD Radeon R9 285 graphics adapters has become a key factor for Sapphire to elaborate a pair of original proprietary versions. The new-comers, codenamed R9 285 2GB GDDR5 ITX Compact Edition, are targeting mini-ITX systems with huge performance ambitions. The pair traditionally involves a standard model with etalon specifications and OC model with a factory overclocking.



Both graphics cards employ a small-sized two-slot cooler that consists of a compact heatsink, four copper heatpipes, and a single fan of 100 mm dimensional type.
