The well-known in IT-maker Company MSI announced about appearance of new videoadapter based on GPU Tahiti XT chipset. Its diversity from the other Radeon HD 7970 can be seen with the naked eye, instead of an air cooler practically the entire surface of the PCB is covered with waterblock brand EK. It differs markedly from the original version, since it is designed specifically for the MSI R7970 Lightning model. Relation of adapter to the Lightning series is easily determined by the inscription at the interface connector PCI-E 3.0 x16, as well as non-standard set of video outputs (2x DVI, 4x Mini DisplayPort) and configuration of additional power connectors (2x PCI-E Power 8-pin).Obviously, the accelerator is positioned as the Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition and has a nominal frequency of at least 1050 MHz. Both models feature 150x200x86 mm dimensions and come with a semi-modular design (24-pin ATX and 8-pin EPS cables are non-detachable). As seen from the codenames, they offer 1000 W and 1250 W power that is quite enough to energize the most demanding gaming systems. 
Western Digital, a leading provider of drive solutions, has upgraded its product line of My Passport HDDs by a new model My Passport Edge. In accordance with the company's developers, the new HDD is known to be compatible both with PC and Mac computers, as well as, with Apple Time Machine. This is called to immensely facilitate the work with information for Mac and PC users. In addition, the manufacturers have equipped their creation with an advanced USB 3.0 interface. Such technological move is supposed to dramatically improve data writing and reading speeds.
