Sharkoon Showcases Budgetary VG4-S Cases

Sharkoon has rejoiced its budget-oriented admirers with a new series of PC cases, entitled VG4-S. The greenhorns are distinguished by a decent functionality combined with an alluring price. Featuring 445x200x430 mm dimensions, the case is ready to offer enough space for a set of up-to-date internal components and welcomes the connection of various external devices. Moreover, the model is housed in a black chassis, while perforated areas are illuminated by red/green/blue backlight.

Sharkoon VG4-S supports the installation of ATX, micro-ATX and mini-ITX motherboards, offering seven expansion slots, three 5.25-inch drive bays, three 3.5-inch drive bays, and four 2.5-inch drive bays. Internal space is sufficient for the mounting of 160 mm high CPU coolers, 250 mm long power supply units, and 385 mm long graphics cards.

External I/O panel boasts the availability of 4x USB 2.0 ports and a pair of 3.5 mm audio sockets. Cooling is ensured by a preinstalled frontal fan (120 mm) with an anti-dust filter, but might be enhanced with three more fans: one on the rear facet (120 mm) and two on the side facets (120 mm). Like many other present-day case versions, VG4-S has two grommets on the rear board for water-cooling systems.

It should be noted that VG4-S cases are available as in standard versions with blind side facets, so in value versions with an acrylic window on the left-side facet. The latter are the ones to marvel by multi-color backlight during system operation. Hence, they might become entry-level platforms for gaming systems.
