Graphics Card Palit GTX 660 Ti JetStream Review

All graphics solutions represented in the market can be divided into three main groups: high-end cards that are destined for inveterate gamers and professionals, mainstream products for ordinary needs of average customers, and budgetary items for basic PC needs. Each of the segment is constantly replenishing with new products to satisfy the rising demands of consumers. Graphics solutions from Nvidia are widely represented in all three groups and enjoy popularity due to their advanced facilities. The company's latest adapter GTX 660 Ti doesn't have its own reference model, so each graphics card manufacturer is able to adjust it exactly to the individual model. Hence, Palit released its own card on the basis of Nvidia GTX 660 Ti adapter and codenamed it JetStream.

New Video Accelerators from AMD Will Be Based on Vega 10 Chips

According to available information, AMD will introduce two new lines of graphics accelerators next quarter. Those are Radeon RX Vega and Radeon RX 500.



Radeon RX Vega will be constructed with Vega architecture based GPU, and Radeon RX 500 will inherit accelerators, built on renamed Polaris series chips, which are well-known due to Polaris 12 chips and Radeon RX 400 cards. It is also reported, that latest driver packages for Linux contain an ID list of devices, designed with a Vega 10 graphics engine.


The data obtained indicate, that in the short term seven devices will be equipped with the Vega 10 chip. In particular, these products will include Radeon RX Vega video cards, alongside with high-end Radeon Instinct and Radeon Pro WX families accelerators.


Please note, that the Radeon RX 500 official announcement is expected to take place on the 18th of April, and Radeon RX Vega will be presented during the Computex 2017 event, which is planned to be conducted in Taipei …

Biostar Intros Hi-Fi A85W 3D Motherboard with a Bunch of Useful Features

Biostar, has recently introduced a new Hi-Fi A85W 3D motherboard, intended to support APUs from AMD for Socket FM2 (Richland and Trinity generation APUs). The board is developed in ATX form-factor and features four DIMM slots for DDR3 memory modules. Expansion facilities are guaranteed by two PCI slots, two PCI Express x16 2.0 slots, and PCI Express x1 2.0 slots, while connectivity options are secured by eight SATA III ports with the support of various RAID configurations (RAID 0, 1, 5, 10). The model also boasts three video sockets (VGA, DVI and HDMI) and USB 3.0 ports.
