Many manufacturers of budget-friendly PC cases adore expanding their line-up by a banal change of the plastic case kit without dramatic changes in the filling or framing structure of the chassis. Let’s have a quick glare at one of the latest novelties in the market of graphics solutions – another representative of ASUS, to be exact, ASUS ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1050 Ti.


Equipment and Design

The card comes in a small box. The package has got extra case pads, VELCRO ties for wires, as well as the code for World of Warships 15 days’ premium mode. A good set for a this class representative.


ASUS ROG Strix GeForce resembles older video cards in this series: the same solid cooling with a large heat sink and a pair of fans, strict design. Given the low TDP, everything looks quite serious. The total length of the video card is 24 cm. The cooler takes up two slots.

A new gaming chassis has replenished the line of PC hardware developed by Chieftec. Codenamed Dragon DX-02B, the model is designed in midi-tower form-factor and can accommodate motherboards of ATX, micro-ATX and e-ATX standard. Internal layout is predestined for the installation of eight expansion slots, and six internal bays for drives which have an access from the frontal panel. Two of those bays support hot swapping option. Besides, the casing contains four bays for 5.25-inch drives.



Dragon DX-02B is able to house graphics cards of up to 34 cm in length. It should be mentioned that one of 5.25-inch bays might be employed for the integration of 3.5-inch drive (external panel or card reader).The model supports power supply units of ATX 2.3/PS II standard, the place for which is stipulated on the chassis' base.
