Be Quiet! Silent Loop: A Powerful Liquid Cooler for Powerful CPUs

Be Quiet! made a personal breakthrough in cooling area. The company has developed the first in its signature lineup liquid cooler targeting high-efficient CPUs. The Silent Loop supports all up-to-date as well as outdated platforms, including AMD FM1/AM2/AM2+/AM3/AM3+/FM2/FM2+ & Intel Socket LGA2011-3/2011/1366/115x/775. The cooler is ready to dissipate up to 400 W power; hence, it might be integrated within overclocking and gaming systems.



The model is a combination of a water block, patch cables (up to 390 mm in length), a heatsink (319x144x30 mm), and a pair of 140-mm fans (Pure Wings 2). At first sight, the layout is standard. However, the cooler features a range of interesting technical solutions. For example, it houses an isolated reverse pump which ensures low noise level & minimal level of vibrations. The Intel Company Is Going to Give a Roland for an Oliver to AMD Ryzen

A short while ago the French Canard PC Hardware magazine has reported, that Intel is going to give fitting reply to AMD Ryzen pilot projects and plans to release two new Kaby Lake-S CPUs.



The first processor is expected to be launched under the Intel Core i7-7740K codename. It will get four compute cores with Hyper-Threading support, 8 MB of tertiary memory cache, unlocked multiplier and the 100 W basic TDP rate. Operating frequencies will lie in the range of 4.3–4.6 GHz in the Turbo Boost mode.


The second specialty is Core i5-7640K with four cores and 4–4.4 frequency of operation. It also features 6 MB of L3 cache, 100 W TDP and the support of Hyper-Threading technology, though we can’t be sure as for the last-named specification. One should admit, that heretofore only the Intel Core i7 line offered multithreading in its 4-core desktop processors.

Aqua Computer began its work in 2001. It was a small Germаn company with a good reputation and great ambitions, which helped them to achieve more than lots of their competitors. Today we will take a look at one of their coolers — cuplex kryos Next. The first version of this water cooler launched in 2010. The new block is based on its old version but there is a number of differences, which I’m going to talk about at the moment.


Those who have ever worked with this device surely admired its plain urban design and high quality. It is not the most fashionable model, nor the cheapest one, but for this price you get the quality of the experience and workmanship, which will not disappoint you in some years.
