Silicon Power, an established manufacturer of flash memory and solid-state drives, has announced the release of its 'fresh' SSD, codenamed Velox V70. The new series is developed in 2.5-inch form factor and based on SandForce SF-2281 controllers from LSI. According to the words of the company's press service, these SSDs are designated for the installation into desktop PCs, as well as laptops. The Velox V70 series includes models of 60, 120, 240, and 480 GB volume capacity.
ECS decided to tackle the problem of sameness, developing a new motherboard on the basis of Intel NM70 Express chips. The implementation exactly of these chips makes the board a pioneer in its product class. ECS NM70-I is designed in mini-ITX form factor and houses Intel Celeron 847/807 CPU. The new workstation is intended for customers who got used to employ 3D technologies in medicine, media, software development, engineering and research fields, and who require the support of several users simultaneously on a single workstation. This is the first certified Citrix solution for the triggering in multi-GPU mode with 4 graphics adaptors and Citrix software XenServer6.
