KingFast, a Chinese developer and supplier of high-end SSD solutions, decided to present quite a new approach in data caching by releasing a dedicated solid-state drive version. Model K25 Ultra-Cache is designed in 2.5-inch form-factor and is basically destined to fulfill various data caching procedures on availability of a slack HDD that can't cope with caching efficiently. In other words, this drive will add the required speed to the PC in which OS is installed on a traditional HDD. The most beneficial thing is that the customer won't have to deinstall OS in order to enhance the system by K25 Ultra-Cache.This drive is equipped with 32GB of NAND MLC flash-memory and employs SATA 3Gb/sec interface. It should be mentioned that caching option is realized by means of a pre-installed Nvelo DataPlex program that facilitates all processes. The estimated consecutive Read speed achieves the margin of 270MB/sec, while consecutive Write speed is recorded at 190MB/sec.
