Scythe, a renowned developer of cooling solutions, introduces a new CPU cooler, entitled Iori. Due to an offbeat framework, the model is primarily targeting small-sized systems with mini-ITX and micro-ATX motherboards. Fractal Design comes out with a new series of liquid coolers. The ‘Kelvin’ lineup is introduced by three models – T12, S24, S36 – which are differentiated by the amount of fans. The triple is targeting any up-to-date system based on Intel or AMD CPUs (Intel LGA 2011/1366/1150 and AMD FM2+/FM2/FM1/AM2+/AM2/AM3+/AM3). Fractal Design Kelvin coolers boast an enclosed design that does not require additional maintenance during operation. They consist of a waterblock with a copper base, a powerful pump with a ceramic bearing, a copper heatspreader, and 1/2/3 Silent HP fans (of 120 mm dimensional type). The latter support PWM technology that adjusts rotational speed within 700-1700 PRM ranges; they are ready to produce up to 62.4 CFM airflow at 26.9 dB noise.
