Entitled ProLite GB2488HSU, it features Full HD resolution and is targeting inveterate gamers. The model will be available in the European market already in mid-March for the recommended price tag of €319. Iiyama ProLite GB2488HSU is based on TN panel with LED backlight. It features a sleek design with a black glossy display case and sharp edges. The new-comer supports 144 Hz refresh rate and 1 ms response time in G-t-G environment. Half a year ago Philips announced an ultra-wide Brilliance 492P8 monitor. However, the product was slightly upgraded on its way to the market. Instead of the 49-inch VA matrix with the 3840x1080 pixels resolution (32:9 aspect ratio) the specialty obtained the 49-inch panel with the 5120x1440 resolution.

 

Other specifications were left without modifications. Thus, Philips Brilliance 492P8 features the 1,800 mm curvature radius, the 5000:1 static contrast, the 600 cd/m² maximum brightness, and 178° viewing angles (horizontally and vertically). The PC can be connected via HDMI, DisplayPort and D-Sub ports. The back panel contains the USB-C, USB 3.0 ports and a gigabit network interface.
