Shuttle, a renowned Taiwanese designer of mini-PCs and barebone systems, has unveiled its newest NAS – the XPC KS10. It is housed in a solid aluminum case, featuring 124x60x205 mm dimensions. One of the major peculiarities pertained to the model is the support for WEP 64/128-bit encoding, as well as for WPA and WPA2 standards.
Shuttle XPC KS10 is developed on SoC Marvell 88F6707 processor (800 MHz frequency) on the basis of ARM Cortex-A7 cores. It is accompanied by 256 MB RAM, 1 GB flash-memory, and SD/SDXC/SDHC card reader with automatic copying option. The manufacturer insists that this NAS might be employed not only as network storage but also as a media server with DLNA support, FTP server, iTunes server, or print server.
