NEC Showcases ‘Square’ PC Monitor AccuSync AS193i

NEC, a well-known provider of various network and business hardware items, announces the release of a new PC monitor, codenamed NEC AccuSync AS193i. The model is differentiated by an unusual square shape and 5:4 aspect ratio. This vindicates that the display is intended basically for offices to work with multiple documents and online data.

19-inch monitor AccuSync AS193i features IPS panel type, equipped with a power-saving LED backlit. It ensures 1280x1024 resolution, 14 ms response time, 1000:1 static contrast ratio, 250 nit brightness, and viewing angles of 178/178 degrees (V/H). Audio facilities are represented by a pair of 2 W stereo speakers, whereas connectivity is ensured by DVI-D and D-Sub video ports.

To continue, the new-comer is thought to support Eco Mode and totally complies with EPEAT Silver, Energy Star 6.0, and TCO 6.0 standards. In order to enhance the power-saving characteristics, NEC furnishes the monitor with Intelligent Power Manager, as well as with disconnecting timer, which automatically disable the screen when it’s not used.
