Welcome a Novelty from Acer – a 38” XR382CQK Monitor

Once again Acer decided to impress customers and launched an advanced 38-inch monitor under the XR382CQK codename. The Taiwan company has produced a specialty with a refined curved IPS-panel featuring a 2.3 m curvature radius, 10 bits of colour precision and the 100% coverage of the sRGB colour gamut.



The resolution of Acer XR382CQK is 3,440 х 1,600 pixels. This product offers the 5 msec response time, the 75 Hz refresh rate, the 300 cd/m² brightness, as well as 172° and 178° view angles (horizontally and vertically respectively).


On the backside of the device one can find a DisplayPort, an HDMI, a four-port USB 3.0 hub and a Type-C USB 3.0 connector. The 7 W stereospeakers and the AMD FreeSync technology support should also be highlighted.


The XR382CQK display by Acer is already available to official retailers at the estimated cost of $1,300.

Kingmax Enlarges the SME Xvalue Lineup with Two New SSD Series

Kingmax, a renowned manufacturer of various data storage and memory solutions, has replenished its SME Xvalue lineup of solid-state drives with a pair of new series. Codenamed SME 32 Xvalue and SME 35 XValue, both series count three models of 60 GB, 120 GB, and 240 GB capacities. It should be noted that the first lineup is predestined to be installed into laptops and small-sized devices, whereas the second one – into desktop PCs.



SME Xvalue SSDs are designed in 2.5-inch form-factor and feature 100.5x69.85x7 mm dimensions. All of them employ SATA 6 Gb/sec interface and are based on MLC NAND flash memory. The drives can operate under 5V voltage within the temperature ranges of 0-+70 degrees. The manufacturer claims that their fail-proof operation time might achieve an unbelievable index — 1.200.000 hours.

Xigmatek Unveils a Classy Vector S550 Power Supply Unit

Xigmatek expands its line of products by a new series of PSUs, entitled Vector S. Currently, the customers can acquire the 550 W model, featuring 123x150x85 mm dimensions and 80 Plus Silver certificate. Its efficiency level achieves 86% on 20%-100% load range. The new-comer is distinguished by a memorable design: it is housed in a magenta case equipped with an unusual ventilation grid and a V-shape insertion.
