
Dell, an acclaimed manufacturer of displays, laptops and other consumer electronics, announces the start of sales of its newest PC monitor, codenamed E2214H. The model features 22-inch display and is based on TN panel type with hard coating. The latter ensures the 1920x1080 Full HD output resolution and quite speedy array response time – 5 ms. Additionally, the product is equipped with a rear LED that stays on the guard of power consumption. The E2214H is already available in the Japanese market for a recommended price of about $170.
The new-comer boasts 396.7x513.2x165.5 mm dimensions and 16:9 aspect ratio. The rear I/O panel consists of one D-Sub port and one DVI-D with HDCP support. This model is differentiated by its power-saving nature; hence, usually it consumes approximately 19W of power, at the maximal load – not more than 30W, and in standby mode – 0.5W.
