Kingston Showcases New SSDNow KC300 Series

Kingston Digital, an established developer and supplier of highly efficient storage solutions, has officially introduced its new line of solid-state drives that entered SSDNow series. Entitled KC300, this line is targeted at a vast audience, starting from corporate clients and finishing with average customers. KC300 includes five models of 60 GB, 120 GB, 180 GB, 240 GB, and 480 GB capacities. According to Kingston, the new entries are supposed to substitute the two preceding SSD lines: Kingston KC100 and Kingston V+200.



SSDs KC300 are designed in 2.5-inch form-factor and feature SATA III 6 Gb/sec interface. LSI SandForce SF-2281 controller is the heart of each drive model. All items included in the series support DuraClass, DuraWrite, S.M.A.R.T. and RAISE technologies that substantially enhance their efficiency. The ASUS WA039T Monoblock Is Built on the 14 nm Apollo Lake Pentium J4205 Processor

This all-in-one device is equipped with a 21.5-inch Full HD display with the 1920 × 1080 pixels resolution and the 14 nm Apollo Lake gen Pentium J4205 processor. The chipset contains four computing cores with the 1.5 GHz rated frequency (dynamically rises to 2.6 GHz), as well as the Intel HD Graphics 505 accelerator.

The reference configuration presupposes the 4 GB DDR3 RAM capacity, which can be doubled if needed. Effective data storage is ensured by the 1 TB hard drive; simultaneously the system has a slot for the SD-card.

Thermaltake Outs Core P5 Green Edition Chassis

A few months after the release of a chassis with an entirely open-air design, Thermaltake decided to release one more modular solution but with a gaudy exterior. The Core P5 Green Edition boasts bright-green coloring of one of the side plates as well as totally transparent other panels.
