Gigabyte Z370 Aorus Gaming 7 ‘Coffee Lake’ – a Motherboard without Defective Features

Introduction


Manufacturers presented a fairly extensive range of motherboards on the Z370, including Gigabyte Z370 AORUS Ultra Gaming. The equipment at the motherboard is the simplest, but Gigabyte still equipped the Z370 AORUS Ultra Gaming very well.



The motherboard offers four DDR4 DIMM slots, three mechanical PCIe 3.0x16 slots and three PCIe 3.0x1 slots, six SATA 6 Gbps ports, two M.2 high-speed slots. There are also seven USB 3.1 Gen1 ports, six USB 2.0 and two USB 3.1 Gen2, so that the USB equipment is decent. Gigabyte installed a gigabit network interface and a good audio subsystem. Introduction

Firstly, we are to note that there is no difference between Sapphire Radeon RX Vega 64 Nitro + and other Radeon RX Vega 64 video cards either in terms of architecture or clock speed. Thanks to the modern mechanisms of the Boot, video cards change clock speeds depending on several parameters. In the case of the reference design of the Radeon RX Vega 64, the clock frequencies rested on the temperature limits, so more efficient cooling should help.

 

But Sapphire went further and installed two versions of the BIOS on the graphics card, which can be selected with the help of a toggle switch.

Xilence presented Torino chassis for mainboards size Mini-ITX

Xilence Company has introduced its first hull with sizetype Mini-ITX – it got the name Torino (or the original codename — GEH-XP-TORINO). The manufacturer claims that the new product, despite its compact size, expressed by the dimentions 348 x 214 x 219 mm, is well suited for construction of «a full-fledged handheld gaming PC.»



Externally Xilence Torino made in the form of its older brothers, Interceptor and Interceptor Pro, and basic material of production is 0.8 mm thick steel. The hull is equipped with three external bays (one 5.25-inch size and two 2.5 inch size) and four internal (all sizes 3.5 inches). On the front panel there are two ports USB 3.0 display and two 3.5 mm jacks for headphones and microphone.
