The Novelty from Acer – a Curved 27” Full HD ED273Awidpx Monitor

This month Acer is going to start retailing of its novelty – a 27-inch Full HD monitor, called ED273Awidpx.



The specialty is based on the curved VA panel with the 1920 × 1080 px resolution. This display features the 4 ms response time and the 144 Hz refresh rate. Its brightness index reaches 250 cd/m2 and contrast level – 3000:1 (with the dynamic contrast coming up to 100 000 000:1). Viewing angles are 178 degrees (horizontally and vertically).


ED273Awidpx supports AMD FreeSync technology, which synchronizes image frequency between a graphics card and a monitor. Dedicated systems protect user’s eyes, while removing flicker and reducing blue backlighting intensity.


Signal sources connection is performed via digital DVI-D, HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2 interfaces. The stand allows angle of tilt adjusting in the range of 20°. The screen weighs 4.6 kg and has such dimensions: 613 × 168 × 466 mm.

Asus ROG Strix XG32V – New Curved Gaming Dreamboat

Borrowing of the technologies is a common practice among manufacturers of components and peripherals.

 

Samsung created new monitors with SVA-panels. However, the manufacturer behaves in an intelligent way: first releases its own product and only after some time (about half a year) provides an opportunity to purchase matrices for the needs of other companies. Asus took a chance and bought the technology increasing its range of gaming monitors widely.


One of the new monitors is the 31.5-inch ROG Strix XG32VQ standard WQHD with a scan rate of 144 Hz. What can be said about it?

MSI has already managed to release a lot of motherboards based on the Intel Z370. One of the first models is the given motherboard. За разлику од десктоп РАЧУНАРА са богатим асортиманом гума улаз/излаз, преносни рачунари имају минималним могућностима за повезивање периферне опреме. Конектор PCMCIA – то је врста периферне интерфејса класе лаптоп. Он омогућава да се прошири функционалност рачунара кроз повезивање компатибилних хардверских компоненти, за које је потребно преузети возача за PCMCIA уређаја. Кључне предности овог интерфејса – могућност топлог повезивање опреме (интернет у радном рачунару) и велика брзина преноса информација.

Стандард PCMCIA има неколико врста. Најчешћи од њих – 32-битни верзија CardBusкоја подржава радну фреквенцију до 33 Мхз и режим контроле гумом. У овој верзији, такође, реализована је посебна технологија за уштеду енергије; она активира уређај повезан само по потреби.

Треба напоменути да се све картице са конектором PCMCIA су подељени у три врсте. На први тип укључује уређај са дебљине 3.3 мм и 16-битни шифровани контакт интерфејс; други тип укључује картице дебљине 5 мм са 16-/32-битни шифровани контакт интерфејс, а трећи тип картице дебљине 10.5 мм са сличним опцијама интерфејса. За постављање везе између ОС лаптопа и подключаемым компонента користе посебан софтвер – возача за PCMCIA уређаја.
