Today we’ll have a glance at one of the ASUS Prime series motherboards. The model having A- index has all the necessary basic features, when nothing has yet been simplified, the power subsystem seems to be good enough and there are no additional controllers of any sort.

Asus Teases Turbo GeForce GTX 1080 Videocard

Asus has just introduced Turbo GeForce GTX 1080 videocard with etalon frequencies & a modified cooler. The model is developed on Nvidia GP104-400 GPU (2560 CUDA, 160 TMUs, 64 ROPs) that operates at 1607/1733 MHz frequency. The integrated GDDR5 memory (8 GB, 256-bit interface, 320 Gb/sec bandwidth) runs at 10 GHz frequency.



The card is coated in a dark-gray cover with logo illumination. The PCB is designed with the help of Auto-Extreme technology as well as Super Alloy Power II hardware. The other peculiar feature is a totally revamped cooling system. As distinct from the etalon model, the Turbo version employs a single fan, based on dual ball-bearings, which pushes hot air away from the GPU.

Asus Boasts One More Graphics Adapter with a Two-Slot Cooler

Asus has replenished its graphics card series based on Kepler architecture with a brand variation of one-chip GeForce GTX 680 adapter. Brand Asus GeForce GTX 680 card has been developed on an original in design circuit board and is notable by the doubled to 4GB GDDR5 memory capacity. Nevertheless, the most outstanding characteristic of a new product is the implementation of a two-slot cooling system, codenamed DirectCU II. Earlier Asus equipped its GeForce GTX 680 adapters with three-slot coolers.



The company decided to concentrate mainly on the introduction of an uncommon cooling system, leaving all frequency showings identical to the recommended by Nvidia index.
