Many customers know Scythe primarily for its delivery of high-end coolers. Nevertheless, the company is gradually extending its assortment by other PC components. Thus, it decided to launch a new brand PC chassis, codenamed Case by Case 3, that will be distributed initially on the internal market. The model is developed in mid-tower form-factor and features classical austere design. Steel casing is totally painted black (from the inside and outside).



Case by Case 3 is able to accommodate motherboards of ATX and micro-ATX standard. As it was mentioned before, the chassis is characterized by austerity in design and absence of any ornamental elements or distracting insertions in framework. This year the Cooler Master company has released a series of original MasterLiquid Pro liquid-cooling systems for Intel and AMD CPUs. The models with 120 mm and 240 mm heat sinks were the first to be released. Now it’s the turn of MasterLiquid Pro 140 and 280 devices, using the liquid-cooling systems heat sinks of the suitable size.



These novelties with a “one-piece” and “two-piece” heat sinks have much in common, though they differ in heat spreader dimensions (171 × 138 × 27 mm and 311 × 138 × 27 mm), as well as in the location of the 140 mm fans pair. MasterLiquid Pro 140 has them mounted on both sides of the heat dissipator and MasterLiquid Pro 280 — on the one side only.

Global laptop shipments have faced with glut stocks in March and a weakening global economy in May. That caused the situation of reaching a growth of supply in the second quarter of the year only for 5% compared with the previous, and it fell by 1.8% compared with this period year ago. Shipments totalled just over 50 million units, according to analysts.



Numbers of Acer and Lenovo laptop shipments were at the average level on the world market in comparison the first quarter of the year. Shipments of mobile PCs from HP, Dell and Toshiba have fallen to 4-7%. Most of all with the increase of supply by 36% managed its shipment the ASUS Company.
