Toshiba is about to release a 2.5-inch SSD, entitled A100. The entry-level model is based on TLC NAND flash memory chips (15 nm) with the cooperation of SLC cache memory. Traditionally, the drive employs SATA 6 Gb/sec interface and takes Toshiba TC58NC1010 chip as a controller.
Enermax Technology Corporation, an established manufacturer of varied PC hardware and peripherals, has unveiled a pair of new chassis, codenamed Staray Lite and Staray Silence. Both products are elaborated in mid-tower form-factor (472x185x421 mm dimensions) and are predestined for those users who suppose quality and reliability a must. The manufacturer has taken into account the latest trends.In new models the heat-exchange zone microchannel structure is refined: the fin spacing is reduced to 0.2 mm, and the fins number has grown up to 81. Thus, the heat-exchange area has become larger. The brand Ramp technology is applied to the heat-exchanger, which guarantees the absence of the coolant flow vorticity and its steady passing through the microchannels zone.
