MSI Supplements Its Chassis Lineup with Barricade Model

MSI continues the development of brand chassis for the North-American market. The company's latest development, chassis codenamed Barricade, offers the whole range of privileges for its potential customers. The model is designed in Mid-Tower form factor and is compatible with the motherboards of ATX and micro-ATX form factor. Barricade goes in black casing with blue strips and at quite affordable price.



MSI barricade boasts 450x185x412 dimensions and the availability of transparent side window. The major peculiarity of this product is a grid-like clipboard and three integrated 120 mm fans. Two fans are located in the frontal part and go with LED lighting, and the third one is located at the rear part of the casing. In addition, the customer is capable to supplement the kit with two more fans of the same dimensions (at the top of the casing) to provide for better airflow and cooling.

Zotac to Release Low-Profile Version of GeForce GTX 650 Adapter

In September Zotac introduced its own version of GeForce GTX 650 graphics adapter. Now, after two months, the company announces its intentions to release a low-profile version of this adapter. Moreover, Zotac decided not to lose time on inventing an appropriate name for its card, but simply added the attribute LP (low-profile) to the existing name. Quite modest dimensions and lack of an additional power supply socket are not peculiar to adapters from GeForce GTX series, but Zotac is not embarrassed by this fact.



Graphics card Zotac GeForce GTX 650 LP is based on GK107 chip with 385 CUDA cores, developed on Kepler architecture (28 nm process). Meet New Gaming ROG Swift PG248Q Monitor from Asus

Asus is about to release another gaming monitor from Republic of Gamers lineup of products. Entitled Asus ROG Swift PG248Q, the new-comer employs 24-inch TN panel with Full HD resolution (16:9 aspect ratio). One of the most striking features ascribed to the model is superfast response time – 1 ms. The display is also characterized by the incorporation of an unusual stand base with the insertion of red-painted circle around the foot.



Asus ROG Swift PG248Q boasts the maximal possible refresh rate – 180 Hz (dynamically tuned from the nominal 144 Hz). The included panel offers 350 cd/m2 of maximal screen brightness, 16.7 m of displayed colors and wide viewing angles (170/160 degrees H/V).
