Asus has recently showcased one more high-end PC monitor – the PB238TR. It features 23 inch display and boasts 549x323.7x244.5 mm dimensions (with stand). The model is peculiar by the support of Human Sensor technology. The latter keeps track of the user’s presence; on his absence for a predetermined time period, the monitor turns to a standby mode. This promotes for a well-judged power consumption, resulting in a dramatic cost efficiency.
Asus PB238TR is based on IPS array with 6 ms response time and Full HD resolution (1920x1080). IPS ensures also a perfect color rendering, wide viewing angles (178/178 degrees in both aspects), 250 cd/m2 maximal brightness, as well as a striking dynamic contrast of 50M:1. The model is furnished with onboard speakers (2W each) and two video ports: D-Sub and DVI-D. Connectivity with external peripherals is realized by means of two USB 2.0 ports.
