Preliminary Acquaintance with VGA-Cooler MK-26 V2 from Prolimatech

Prolimatech Inc., an established manufacturer of high-end air-cooling systems, is about to release its new VGA-cooler, codenamed MK-26 V2. The upcoming product will be compatible with graphics cards from AMD manufacturer (up to Radeon HD 7000 Series) and Nvidia (up to GeForce GTX 600 Series). According to the preliminary data, the new cooler models will be capable to manage up to 320W of extra heat to provide for the most optimal GPU cooling down.



The major distinction of MK-26 V2 cooler is its impressive dimensions which equal to 230x146x47 mm. Thus, the cooler will take the spacing of five expansion slots, leaving no room for SLI/Crossfire. The cooler has got a copper base which accommodates six copper heatpipes, 6mm in gauge each pipe. WD to Release an Updated My Book Live Duo Cloud Storage

Western Digital is going to release an updated version of a high-end cloud storage entitled My Book Live Duo. The new-comer is equipped with a pair of hard drives, joined in RAID configuration, and serves simultaneously as a network storage and a secure remote storage. The customers will be able to choose between 4 TB, 6 TB and 8 TB models which are backed by a 2-year’s limited warranty. The release is scheduled for August 2014.



My Book Live Duo features 165x157x99 mm dimensions and weighs 2.26 kg. It is based on 800 MHz processor and shows compatibility with PC and Mac systems. Furnished with WD Red drives, it supports RAID 0 and JBOD storage configurations, as well as RAID 1 – mirror redundancy mode; the latter employs one part of capacity for storing the user’s information, the second one – for backup of this information.
