The Highly Effective Galax GeForce GTX 1050 OC Graphics Accelerator

The Galax Company is ready to release the GeForce GTX 1050 OC graphics accelerator with a slight factory overclock.



This graphics card is based on the 14 nm Pascal GP107 graphics chip and features 640 streaming processors. The base and boosted core frequencies correspond to 1,366 and 1,468 MHz comparing to 1,354 and 1,455 MHz of reference units. There are 2 GB of GDDR5 memory with a 128-bit bus and with the frequency of 7,008 MHz. Being a Pascal-based device, this specialty is designed with FinFET technology and supports DirectX 12 for the fast and smooth gaming session.


The graphics accelerator is equipped with a one-fan cooling system (the diameter of the cooler is 90 mm). Displays can be connected via such ports, as DVI-D, HDMI and DisplayPort. The product takes two expansion slots in the chassis.


Galax GeForce GTX 1050 OC will be on sale since 23rd of December at the approximate price of $140.

Be Quiet! announces the upcoming release of a new series of fans, entitled SilentWings 3. The lineup will consist of 4x 120-mm & 4x 140-mm items. All greenhorns are based on fluid dynamic bearing, estimated for 300.000 hours of foolproof operation. The fans employ either 3-pin or 4-pin power connectors and might run at 12V voltage index.



Be Quiet! SilentWings 3 items have a dual purpose: they can be used as system fans and as a part of CPU cooling. The 3-pin models come equipped with an adapter for the reduction of voltage from 12V to 7-5V; due to this, their noise level dwindles down to the minimal level. Xigmatek Outs Midgard III Case with Wireless Charger Dock

Xigmatek, a renowned Taiwanese designer of prime-class PC hardware, has launched a follower of the well-known Midgard case series – the Midgard III. It features 409(d)x515(h)x260(w) mm dimensions, always ready to accommodate mini-ITX, micro-ATX, and standard ATX motherboards. The case has got a sleek stern design, though is peculiar by the availability of a unique wireless charger station (Qi standard), leaving all competitors way behind (in terms of connectivity).



Xigmatek Midgard III comes with three external 5.25-inch bays, eight internal 3.5/2.5-inch bays, and seven expansion slots for add-ons.
