AOC Outs Frameless Q2781PQ Monitor

The majority of customers place a priority on functionality of the monitor rather than its design. AOC Q2781PQ is a solution that combines both: state-of-the-art performance & an extraordinary design. The greenhorn is differentiated by an ultrathin frame, giving the impression of frameless construction. The display rests upon an asymmetric stand that provides for a better ergonomics, due to tilt, pivot & swivel adjustments.

The 27-inch AOC Q2781PQ monitor is based on AH-IPS panel which ensures 16:9 aspect ratio as well as 2560x1440 resolution (QHD) on 60 Hz refresh rate. The panel features 4 ms response time, the top brightness index of 350 cd/m2, the widest viewing angles (178 degrees in both aspects), and 100% coverage of RGB environment.

The model is known to support Flicker-Free technology that adjusts brightness level by means of backlight, securing flicker-free imaging on the screen. The monitor boasts 1000:1 static & 50M:1 dynamic contrast ratio. The amount of …

Meet a Pair of ASRock Motherboards with Support for AMD AMP2400+ MHz

ASRock is proud to announce that its two motherboard models are the first in the market to receive AMD AMP 2400+ MHz support, verified by a corresponding certificate. Hence, the FM2A88X Extreme 6+ and the FM2A88X-ITX+ are now officially optimized for an enhanced overclocking of memory modules via dedicated menu sections in UEFI BIOS. Moreover, the manufacturer promises to ‘endow’ the rest of FM2+ line with the support for a new memory standard.

Both greenhorns are based on AMD A88X chipset and are compatible with AMD A processors for Socket FM2+ platform. Along with the similarities, the models have a lot of distinctive features, described below.

Deepcool is preparing a new cooler with heat pipes

Deepcool production company of inexpensive and quite efficient cooling systems has provided a sample of CPU cooler — Big Frost (tentative codename), which is an extension of current Frostwin model. Previous model has 4 sintered powder heatpipes, which conduct heat from the processor to protect it from overheating. Also, like a new model, it has 120mm fans.

New model has a simple design, but strict, almost «standard», forms will not prevent it from showing a decent performance. It works with less noise and performs an effective cooling. Big Frost consists of a nickel-plated copper base with a miniature auxiliary radiator, six U-shaped copper heatpipes, each of 6 mm in diameter, and two sections of aluminium plates of similar thickness. Pre-installed fans are running at different speeds. One turns with intensity of 1300 r / min (22.6 dB noise), the other — in the range from 900 to 1500 rev / min (21,4-32,1 dB).
