Several months of prolonged rumors have ended in the final release of the much-wanted graphics card from Nvidia — GeForce GTX 780, designed for desktop devices. This is the second solution from this manufacturer for mainstream market, developed in accordance with 28 nm technological process (after Titan series), and the first representative of Nvidia GeForce 700 series. The product is based on Nvidia GK110 graphics core that features 2304 current processors, 192 TMUs and 48 ROPs. With the attempt to enhance the card’s productivity and make it rival with Titan solutions, Nvidia has dynamically increased GPU clock frequencies from 837 MHz to 863 MHz (nominal) and from 876 MHz to 900 MHz (overclocked).
