Preview of video-card Club 3D Radeon HD 7970 royalAce

Club 3D has released fifth model of the Radeon HD 7970 — with the prefix royalAce in the codename. Before «ace» there were represented “the king” HD 7970 royalKing and “Queen” HD 7970 royalQueen. New model works at higher frequencies, and supports dynamic overclocking. Into the configuration of Club 3D Radeon HD 7970 royalAce inserted 2048 stream processors. Nominal of core is 1050 MHz in normal mode and 1100 MHz in 3D-games. GDDR5 memory chips make total of 3 GB and operating at 6 GHz, the memory bus is 384 bits.



Club 3D Radeon HD 7970 is notable by its effective use of a proprietary cooling system. It is equipped with a dual-slot cooling system royalAce consisting of at least three copper heat pipes, an array of aluminum fins and a pair of fan size 80 mm. Scythe Offers a Universal CPU Water-Cooling System

Scythe has replenished the line of its products by a new water-cooling system Apsalus III 120. This enclosed cooler is considered to be self-contained and compatible with all contemporary CPUs from Intel and AMD. It should be mentioned that this time Scythe has joined its technological forces with the other cooler supplier. Thus, Apsalus III 120 is a modified version of one of the CPU water-cooling platforms (Gen4) developed by Asetek Inc.



The framework of Apsalus III 120 consists of a copper water block with an integrated pump, two opaque connecting tubes, a heatsink of 119x150x27 mm dimensions, and a single 120 mm fan (Scythe GlideStream 120). The latter is known to have a fixed speed of 1200 RPM; nevertheless, the noise level never exceeds the margin of 24 dB.

Kimdecent created a computer Droid Stick T4 for lovers of small devices

Personal computer — this has long been not only a cumbersome system unit and monitor, as this phrase is now called nettops and more compact devices of class «micro-PC.» For public discussion was presented the computer Droid Stick T4 from a Chinese company Kimdecent, barely surpassing dimensions of a standard USB-stick with its size.
