After several years of domination at the solid-state drives market Samsung 850 Pro and 850 Evo models take well-deserved rest. Today the South Korean manufacturer comes up with their successors –860 Pro and 860 Evo to be exact.

 

Samsung Electronics novelties are performed on the base of the 64-layer 3D V-NAND flash memory. The key difference between the two lines devices lies in the type of flash mem: Pro SSDs are built on the MLC microchips, and Evo products – on the TLC microchips.
