Enermax Equilence, a Low-Noise PC Framework, Obtained Sound-Insulated Panels and a Tempered Glass Window

The Taiwan Enermax vendor replenishes its product offering with a Mid-Tower Equilence chassis, which has made its first appearance in the frame of the Computex 2017 exhibition.



The novelty is intended for ATX mother cards installing and for low-noise systems assembling. It got a 4 mm tempered glass side, making all inner components clearly visible, and three (front, upper and side) panels, provided with dense sound insulating foam.

Gigabyte Showcases New GB-BSi7 Mini-PCs

Gigabyte keeps on refilling its inventory of Intel Skylake-based solutions with a couple of new mini-PCs: Brix GB-BSi7T-6500 & Brix GB-BSi7HT-6500. The greenhorns are designed on a two-core Intel Core i7-6500U CPU that operates at 2.5/3.1 GHz frequency. The processor is accompanied by Intel HD graphics as well as DDR4-2133 MHz RAM (maximum capacity – 32 GB).



The fundamental difference between the two models lies in the storage layout. The GB-BSi7T-6500 features only M.2 slot for the installation of compatible drives, whereas the GB-BSi7HT-6500 adds one SATA 6 Gb/sec interface for 2.5-inch drive. All other specifications are analogous for the mini-PCs.


Therefore, the new-comers feature a single PCI Express M.2 expansion slot (occupied by Wi-Fi + Bluetooth module), Realtek ALC255 audio controller, Intel I219V gigabit network controller, Intel Dual-Band wireless-AC 3165, and an integrated 90-watt power supply unit. Foxconn Introduces Two Motherboards on Intel NM70 Chipset

Foxconn is proud to introduce a pair of new mini-ITX motherboards, developed on Intel NM70 chipset. Entitled D70S-P and D70S-PD, this couple is intended for the incorporation into small-sized, power-saving and low-noise PCs, workstations, network and multimedia stations. Both new-comers are initially equipped with two-core Intel Celeron U1037 CPUs (Ivy Bridge generation). They operate at 1.8 GHz and consume 17 W only.



Foxconn D70S-P and D70S-PD feature an integrated Intel HD Graphics core that ensures smooth and quality imaging on movie watching (support for Full HD resolutions), game playing (with average demands), Internet surfing, and work with various applications. Cooling of all crucial components, including the key computing block, is secured by means of an aluminum heatsink with an onboard low-profile fan. Despite the dimensions, 170x170 mm only, the product allows for the incorporation of any contemporary hardware pieces.
