Buffalo Showcases Four-Section NAS TeraStation 4400

Buffalo Technology, an American-based manufacturer of high-end network solutions, continues introducing its newest elaborations to the customers all over the world. This time the company showcases a new four-section NAS, codenamed TeraStation 4400. According to the developers, the product is targeting those users who would like to receive flexibility in shaping their systems and scale up the storage volume individually.



The heart of the storage is dual-core Intel Atom D2550 processor. In regards to memory, it is represented by DDR3 modules with an overall capacity of 2 GB. TeraStation 4400 accommodates a pair of gigabit Ethernet ports, two USB 2 and two USB 3.0 ports, onboard DLNA media-server, onboard Bit Torrent client, and built-in Buffalo WebAccess for a remote access to data from other devices. Additionally, the item is able to operate as NAS and as iSCSI.

Arctic to Release Coolers Specifically for Nvidia Graphics Cards

Arctic Cooling AG is going to release a new air cooling system destined particularly for Nvidia GeForce GTX 690 graphics solutions. Listan GmbH & Co. KG, a well-known German manufacturer that releases its hardware products under Be Quiet! brand, is going to introduce the second revision of Pure Wings series of system fans. Entitled Pure Wings 2, the new series includes two models: 120 mm model, featuring 120x120x25 mm dimensions, and 140 mm model, featuring 140x140x25 mm dimensions. Both fans are characterized as entry-level low-noise solutions, which can easily cope with the cooling of all vital system components.



Fans Be Quiet! Pure Wings 2 differ from their predecessors by the doubled number of blades. The latter have got original salient framework that considerably reduces the noise and produces efficient airflow. The fans are based on slide bearings and are estimated for 80.000 hours of trouble-free operation.
