Intel Is Expected to Release Its Gigabyte Z370XP SLI Motherboard Together with the 8th Gen Core Coffee Lake CPUs

Recently the picture of another Intel Z370 chipset based novelty, namely the Gigabyte Z370XP SLI motherboard, has appeared on the Internet.



This mother card is produced for the 8th gen Core Coffee Lake desktop CPUs by Intel. The specialty belongs to Gigabyte’s super-endurable middle-class line and is the descendant of well-known Z270XP SLI. The new product has inherited the back panel interfaces and PCI Express slots configuration and presumably the audio subsystem as well. Despite having much in common with the previous model, it is cheaper and features its own peculiarities. For example, the p-c board, the I/O cover and radiators are performed with white colour.


Gigabyte Z370XP-SLI got four slots for the DDR4 RAM, three PCI Express 3.0 x16, three PCI-E 3.0 x1, and two M.2 connectors. There are six SATA 6 Gbps ports for drives linking. The processor socket power supply subsystem offers 7 or 8 phases. Back panel interfaces include USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-A and Type-C ports.

Asus Showcases Radeon R9 280 Strix OC Edition Graphics Card

The lineup of Asus Strix graphics cards, in addition to GeForce GTX 780 model, has been replenished with one more representative – the Radeon R9 280 Strix OC Edition (codename: Strix-R9280-OC-3GD5). The heart of the card is AMD Radeon R9 280 GPU (Tahiti PRO) with overclocked clock frequencies. Hence, the GPU index has been increased from etalon 933 MHz (overclocked) to 980 MHz. This provides for even more striking performance on gaming and overclocking cessions.



The graphics card is equipped with 3 GB of GDDR5 memory featuring 384-bit rail. Its frequency has also been increased, demonstrating 1300 MHz at the start and reaching 5200 MHz at the toughest loading. The model boasts a rich set of video interfaces, including one HDMI, one DisplayPort, and a pair of DVI ports. This ensures the creation of multi-screen configurations.

The Release of Two 3D Graphics Cards from Sparkle Computer

Sparkle Computer, a Taiwanese supplier of graphics solutions and consumer electronics, has released two 3D graphics cards simultaneously. The two models have been codenamed Calibre X680 Captain and Calibre X670 Captain. Both cards are based on Nvidia GK104 GPUs developed under 28 nm standards. The chief peculiarity of the products is the integration of extraordinary cooler CoolPro; the uncommonness is seen in the localization of three fans that found their places under the radiator. This radiator is connected with the base, which is in direct touch with GPU, by means of six heat pipes.



Calibre X680 Captain and Calibre X670 Captain are equipped with DisplayPort, DVI, DVI-D, and HDMI video outputs.
