The Release of AMD FX 8320 and FX 8300 Is Round the Corner

AMD is working intensely at the development of 8-core processors, the release of which is prognosticated for the 4th quarter of 2012. According to the preliminary data, AMD will release two models at once: FX 8320 and FX 8300. Such information could not but rejoice all customers using AMD FX processors on Bulldozer architecture, since the new CPUs are promised to be more efficient. The new processors will go with Vishera codename and will be built on the improved Piledriver architecture.



Similar to the flagship model AMD FX-8350, the two models will be designed on the basis of 32 nm micro architecture. They will support DDR3 memory with the frequency of 1866 MHz and will have 8Mb of L3 cache-memory. The two models will also support Socket AM3+ slot. Therefore, the major advantage of the new processor is that they will offer almost 20% more efficiency as compared to the current chips of FX series.

Zalman Unveils Nifty Z9 NEO Chassis

Zalman comes out with a new jaunty PC case – the Z9 NEO. The model is available in two paintwork variations (black and white) and is compatible with mini-iTX, micro-ATX as well as full-format ATX motherboards. The mid-tower chassis features 490x482x205 mm dimensions to fit any environment.

GeForce GTX 1080 and GeForce GTX 1070 GameSoul series graphics accelerators by Gainward are ready for release. These products are meant for powerful game-playing machines and VR systems.



Graphics cards are based on the 16 nm NVIDIA GP104 chip with Pascal architecture. The GeForce GTX 1080 model has 2,560 streaming processors, 160 TMU and 64 ROP. The card features 8 GB of GDDR5X memory with a 256-bit bus.


In its turn, GeForce GTX 1070 comprises 1,920 streaming processors, 120 TMU and 64 ROP. The volume of the GDDR5 memory with a 256- bit bus equals to 8 GB.
