The External GIGABYTE Aorus GTX 1080 Gaming Box Obtained the 3D GeForce GTX 1080 Card

Recently the Gigabyte presented its newest external box, equipped with the discrete 3D GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card. This is a fully ready product, called Aorus GTX 1080 Gaming Box.



The latest Gigabyte solution is performed in a modest-sized framework (212 × 96 × 162 mm only) and weighs 2.4 kg. Inside the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 graphics accelerator, featuring 8 GB of the GDDR5X memory, is installed. The chipset core base clock reaches 1,632 MHz in the OC Mode and 1,607 MHz in the Gaming Mode. The turbo boost is therefore 1,771 MHz and 1,733 MHz. Memory operates at the 10,010 MHz frequency.


Aorus GTX 1080 Gaming Box can be linked up to the computer via the Thunderbolt 3 interface with the USB Type-C connector, ensuring the 40 Gbps rate of transmission.
