Monitor BenQ GW2750HM Review

Some year-two ago monitors with large 27-inch displays employed only TN+Film panel types. Their price, of course, was not affordable for the entry-level and average customer sectors. But today, 27-inch products are not rarity and, moreover, they are developed also on an advanced AMVA panel type at a more reasonable price. BenQ marveled its customers last summer by the release of an outstanding monitor, codenamed GW2750HM, based exactly on AMVA panel. Its alluring price also added to the product's popularity.

Monitor BenQ GW2750HM employs AMVA panel (M270HW02 V1), designed by AU Optronics, with W-LED lighting. The latter is called to reduce power consumption and add some neatness to the design. Asus Showcases Dainty Designo MX27AQ Display

Asus’ lineup of bezel-less monitors has been replenished with a new refined model – the Designo MX27AQ. This 27-inch prime-quality model features a super-thin body-frame (14.5 mm only) and a stylish stand that adds to the overall lightsome display design. Asus Designo MX27AQ is based on AH-IPS panel, equipped with a power-saving LED backlight. Next year TSMC will start manufacturing the first 20nm chips

The Taiwanese company TSMC confirmed its intention to start production of chips using 20 nm technological processes in 2013. However, for now the company does not plan its production on an industrial scale and will release the first chips in a limited quantities, giving them a total of 1% of production capacity.
