Samsung Electronics Is Going to Launch Two Curved VA Monitors – C27H711 and C32H711

The South Korean Samsung Electronics Corporation has announced the forthcoming retail of its curved VA CH711 monitors.



The displays under the C27H711 and C32H711 codenames differ in size (26.9” and 31.5” respectively), however, possess much in common. Both products feature a 2560 x 1440 (WQHD) resolution, 178°/178° viewing angles (horizontal and vertical), a 1800R curvature, 8-bit colour support, a 3000:1 static contrast ratio, as well as the 300 cd/m² brightness. The response time of displays is 4 ms (grey to grey), and the refresh rate is 60 Hz. The AMD FreeSync tech applied allows increasing this value up to 72 Hz. A flicker-free Quantum Dot LED backlight ensures the full sRGB gamut coverage.


Connectivity options are represented by the Mini-DisplayPort 1.2a and HDMI 1.4a. Stands of both specialties let tilt displays and neatly lay cables through the neck.

NXP Semiconductors company announces the release of a GPS signal amplifier BGU8006 destined primarily for the integration into mobile devices, tablets, navigators, photo- and video cameras. According to the words of the NXP representatives, their new model is the most bantam signal amplifier available in the market: BGU8006 dimensions equal to 0.65mm x 0.44mm x 0.2mm. Besides, this amplifier is characterized by the extremely low level of noise and the necessity to employ only a couple of external components to enable the device (decoupling capacitor and matching inductor).



The abundance of radio frequency signals serves the major impediment for the pure GPS signal reception. NXP BGU8006 has been developed with this thought in mind and is called to improve the reception of weak GPS signals by means of a dynamic rejection of strong signals released by the cellular and local wireless networks.

New Eisblock XPX Water Units by AlphaCool
