Seasonic Teases a New Snow Silent 1050 W Power Supply

This season a new ‘white-color’ fashion trend has gripped many PC hardware manufacturers. Seasonic joined the tendency by introducing a new high-end power supply unit, codenamed Snow Silent 1050 W. It is intended enthusiasts and demanding gamers which aim to build a multi-GPU platform. The new-comer is already available at the European market at the price tag of 262.50 EUR.

Seasonic Snow Silent 1050 W boasts 80 Plus Platinum certificate, since it demonstrates 89%-94% efficiency in the majority of operational modes. This PSU is equipped with a single +12V bus, able to provide 87 A at 1044 W power. Such outstanding showings imply the employment of a high-quality hardware base and an advanced circuitry. In order to ensure maximum power and maximum stability, the model supports all modern protection utilities: OVP, OPP, UVP, OCP, OTP, and SCP.

So, today we are going to inspect and evaluаte the Fractal Design Meshify C chаssis. KingFast Showcases K25 SSD for Data Caching Activity

KingFast, a Chinese developer and supplier of high-end SSD solutions, decided to present quite a new approach in data caching by releasing a dedicated solid-state drive version. Model K25 Ultra-Cache is designed in 2.5-inch form-factor and is basically destined to fulfill various data caching procedures on availability of a slack HDD that can't cope with caching efficiently. In other words, this drive will add the required speed to the PC in which OS is installed on a traditional HDD. The most beneficial thing is that the customer won't have to deinstall OS in order to enhance the system by K25 Ultra-Cache.

This drive is equipped with 32GB of NAND MLC flash-memory and employs SATA 3Gb/sec interface. It should be mentioned that caching option is realized by means of a pre-installed Nvelo DataPlex program that facilitates all processes. The estimated consecutive Read speed achieves the margin of 270MB/sec, while consecutive Write speed is recorded at 190MB/sec.
