Sapphire Unveils Small-Sized R9 285 2GB GDDR5 ITX Compact Edition Graphics Cards

Optimized energy efficiency offered by AMD Radeon R9 285 graphics adapters has become a key factor for Sapphire to elaborate a pair of original proprietary versions. The new-comers, codenamed R9 285 2GB GDDR5 ITX Compact Edition, are targeting mini-ITX systems with huge performance ambitions. The pair traditionally involves a standard model with etalon specifications and OC model with a factory overclocking.

Both graphics cards employ a small-sized two-slot cooler that consists of a compact heatsink, four copper heatpipes, and a single fan of 100 mm dimensional type. Connection with PC monitors and other visual solutions is realized by means of HDMI, DVI-I, and a couple of mini-DisplayPorts. Additionally, the models feature dual BIOS chips (standard and UEFI) which might be switched with the help of a dedicated key on the case.

NZXT to Release Revolutionary Manta Chassis

NZXT has been always differentiated by an extraordinary design of PC chassis. This time the company decided not to drift off the course and introduced a revolutionary mini-ITX case. The Manta features 450x426x245 mm dimensions only, but it can accommodate an advanced system with quite powerful components. NZXT Manta offers enough internal space to build up a record-breaking mini-ITX system. Asustor Launches a Pair of AS 5 Series NAS

Asustor, a renowned Taiwanese network systems developer, comes to the market with a couple of new NAS devices which supplemented AS 5 series. The AS5008T and the AS5108T feature eight bays (each) for the drives with the maximal capacity of 48 TB. All the drives might be combined into a range of configurations, including JBOD, Single, Hot Spare, RAID 1/5/6/10. The pair is backed by a 3-year’s limited warranty.

Asustor AS 5 models cooperate with ADM 2.3 OS and come with an integrated firewall. They are thought to support Cloud Connect technology as well as power-saving Energy Saver features.
