The Launch of New Generation Core i3 is Planned for Early September

The recent launch of Intel's Ivy Bridge processors based on a new microarchitecture has touched upon Core i5 and Core i7 series. Currently, the company is working vigorously on the advancement of its Core i3 series, as well as, Pentium G2100T and G2120 models. The latter will be designed on similar to its 'brethren' architecture. In accordance with the voiced information, the new processors will be released in early September.

The nominal lineup of Core i3 processors will include five models; processors with T index (i3-3220T and i3-3240T) will be characterized by low power consumption (up to 35W) and average frequencies which will fluctuate in the ranges of 2.8-3 GHz. Senior models (i3-3220 and i3-3225) will operate at 3.3 GHz and have TDP index of 55W, while the superior model Core i3-3240 will achieve the frequency index of 3.4 GHz. These models are distinguished by the availability of more efficient integrated HD 4000 graphics type.

GeIL Introduces Memory Module Series Evo Leggera

GeIL has lately introduced a new series of memory modules, codenamed Evo Leggera. According to the words of the manufacturers, this series is ready to demonstrate the utmost performance in combination with the low-profile VELOCE radiators which cannot stop the users from installing huge CPU coolers. Evo Leggera represents an optimal solution and improved functionality in one product. The series includes modules of 1333 MHz to 2800 MHz frequencies compiled in two- and four-channel kits.

Evo Leggera is equipped with advanced low-profile heat dispensers 'Leggera' developed with the implementation of Maximum Thermal Conduction and Dissipation technology. This technology ensures efficient cooling activity with the standard module heights. Memory modules Evo Leggera are compatible practically with all newest logics kits, involving Intel Z77 platform. This expands the versatility of the series.

To continue, it should be mentioned that all models in the series have undergone tough …

Adata Offers Premier Pro SP920 Drive for Multimedia Data

Adata Technology enters into the market with a new series of SSDs, codenamed Premier Pro SP920. Initially, the customers will be able to acquire only two models of 128 GB and 256 GB capacity, though the manufacturer promises to enlarge the line later on with more spacious drives of 512 GB and 1 TB capacity. All the models feature a conventional 2.5-inch form-factor and are based on Marvell controller, accompanied by multi-level MLC NAND flash-memory.

Solid-state drives Adata Premier Pro SP920 employ SATA III 6 Gb/sec interface. Their design is peculiar by 7 mm depth, thus it will be possible to incorporate them into ultra-slim devices. The availability of a dedicated adapter, as well as a special mounting set, facilitates their installation into the 3.5-inch bays.

In keeping with the developers, these drives are primarily intended to work for the needs of multimedia data, as far as they ensure marvelous performance during Read/Write operations. Therefore, SP920 (depending …

PCI devices, list of vendors

Here you can find a list of PCI devices vendors and download necessary drivers straight away. With a view to find a required driver out of 654963 items in our database inventory, select an appropriate vendor of PCI devices from the list of 25142 available in this section.

DevID : : PCI devices

Bus I/o PCI is one of the most common tools for connecting peripherals to the computer motherboard. As a rule, full-length motherboard has at its disposal up to seven slots of this standard that allows you to connect a corresponding number of devices for various purposes: expansion card, network cards, host controllers, modems, drive controllers, sound cards and graphics adapters.

From the user's point of view PCI-hardware is plug and play, thanks to the Plug-and-Play. Immediately after connection of the computer software examines the configuration of a charge/controller/adapter and configures it to work. If the OS cannot determine the type of the connected card, which means that you need to update or download drivers for PCI devices.

Bus PCI has its bits: 2.0, 3.0, PCI-X, mini-PCI, PCI Express, mini-PCI Express. Most modern peripheral devices support one of the last two digits. This is due to their extremely high speed and rich functionality. So, bus PCI Express allows you to do hot swapping of cards to control the integrity of the transmitted data, and to control the power consumption of the connected devices.

Meanwhile, the standard bus mini-PCI Express is designed to work with portable equipment that requires special drivers for PCI devices. In the list of compatible hardware includes modems, GSM, receivers, GPS, motherboard Wi-Fi, maps, Wi-MAX, SSD drives, controllers, connect SATAdevices, controllers connect USBdevices, SMBus, controllers, COMports, the findings for indicator LEDs, etc.
