Preview of Intel Itanium 9500 Specifications

The Internet community is actively discussing new Intel's development, processors Poulson, that belongs to the tenth generation of Intel Itanium. All previous data about the upcoming product were vague and void of official proofs. Currently, the data are more ample and allow the community to study the future processor in more details. Thus, Intel Itanium 9500, codenamed Poulson, will be presented by four models the release of which is planned for early autumn.

The crystal of Poulson processor will consist of 3.1 billion transistors that are called to form eight computing cores. Each core counts up 89 million transistors and the pipeline width is doubled to twelve instructions. This way CPU developers implement more efficient approach towards transistor budget. Just for comparison purposes, Poulson's predecessor, Tukwila, counted 109 billion transistors per core.

To continue, Poulson CPUs will accommodate a couple of cache memory arrays, five channels of QPI bus, system …

VIA Infrared devices, list of models

Choose a model of your VIA Infrared devices out of 54321 items in the list. Our inventory includes approximately 654963 free drivers which you can download trouble-free.

Technology IR (infrared, IR) connections are designed for installation stable wireless connection between your PC and the devices equipped with IR ports. Currently, this technology is not very popular, because speed limits of information transmission and small radius of action. However, the segment of computer and professional electronics full solutions with infrared connection: printers, scanners, cell phones, web Cams, video surveillance equipment etc.

IR devices usually are equipped with a special port that allows you to easily connect to another enabled device. In turn, the desktop/laptop requires the installation of such a port. For configuration and stable operation, use the driver for IR devices.

There are three ways to connect the IR port to computer: the connector IrDA on the motherboard (quite complicated from a technical point of view) connector to the COM or to the bus USB (the best option).

It should be noted that the wavelength of the IR-port does not exceed 900 nm. This figure sets strict limits on the part of the working distance between the two infrared devices is 1 meter. Otherwise, the technology will falter. To ensure a stable connection it is recommended to download the drivers for the IR device, and also remove any objects between the two ports.
