Within the Framework of OCP U.S. Summit 2018 Seagate Technology Introduces the 14 TB Seagate Exos X14 HDD

Currently the Seagate Exos X hard disk drives family contains of two models – the 10 TB Seagate Exos X10 and the 12 TB Seagate Exos X12. These products are constructed for data centres and cloud storages. During the OCP U.S. Summit 2018 event the American manufacturer has introduced its new top-rated HDD of the series mentioned, called Seagate Exos X14. The capacity of the device is 14 TB.

The specialty is produced in a regular 3.5-inch form factor with the PMR (Perpendicular Magnetic Recording) technology applied. Supposedly, the novelty is built on the latest platform utilizing nine 1.55 TB platters. However, this information has not come from the vendor. The spindle rotates at 7,200 rpm.

Iiyama Launches X4070UHS Monitor with an Unusual Base

Iiyama Corp. is not used to sit idly, delivering ever newer visual solutions. This time the company launches a 39.5-inch PC monitor with a nontrivial stand. The ProLite X4070UHS model rests on two demountable racks, instead of a single central column.
