NEC Showcases ‘Square’ PC Monitor AccuSync AS193i

NEC, a well-known provider of various network and business hardware items, announces the release of a new PC monitor, codenamed NEC AccuSync AS193i. The model is differentiated by an unusual square shape and 5:4 aspect ratio. This vindicates that the display is intended basically for offices to work with multiple documents and online data.



19-inch monitor AccuSync AS193i features IPS panel type, equipped with a power-saving LED backlit. BenQ Promotes a New PC Monitor with 1 ms Response Time

BenQ, a Taiwanese developer of diversified PC equipment, promotes its new monitor that will be released later this year. Codenamed RL2455HM, the model replenishes 'RL' gaming series and is primarily intended for the connection with gaming consoles. Thus, it might become a perfect tool for the devotees of dynamic shooters and other console games.



BenQ RL2455HM features 24-inch display and 16:9 aspect ratio. It is characterized by Full HD resolution (1920x1080), 60 Hz scanning, wide viewing angles (170 degrees vertical, 160 degrees horizontal), and high dynamic contrast ratio that achieves 12 million to 1 index. This monitor employs TN panel but can boast quite an outstanding response time: on gray-to-gray switch, array response time equals to 1 ms only. This is a dramatic breakthrough, if compared with the majority of other gaming displays that demonstrate from 4 to 7 ms time.

The Intel Company Is Going to Give a Roland for an Oliver to AMD Ryzen

A short while ago the French Canard PC Hardware magazine has reported, that Intel is going to give fitting reply to AMD Ryzen pilot projects and plans to release two new Kaby Lake-S CPUs.



The first processor is expected to be launched under the Intel Core i7-7740K codename. It will get four compute cores with Hyper-Threading support, 8 MB of tertiary memory cache, unlocked multiplier and the 100 W basic TDP rate. Operating frequencies will lie in the range of 4.3–4.6 GHz in the Turbo Boost mode.


The second specialty is Core i5-7640K with four cores and 4–4.4 frequency of operation. It also features 6 MB of L3 cache, 100 W TDP and the support of Hyper-Threading technology, though we can’t be sure as for the last-named specification. One should admit, that heretofore only the Intel Core i7 line offered multithreading in its 4-core desktop processors.
