
BenQ, a Taiwanese developer of diversified PC equipment, promotes its new monitor that will be released later this year. Codenamed RL2455HM, the model replenishes 'RL' gaming series and is primarily intended for the connection with gaming consoles. Thus, it might become a perfect tool for the devotees of dynamic shooters and other console games.
BenQ RL2455HM features 24-inch display and 16:9 aspect ratio. It is characterized by Full HD resolution (1920x1080), 60 Hz scanning, wide viewing angles (170 degrees vertical, 160 degrees horizontal), and high dynamic contrast ratio that achieves 12 million to 1 index. This monitor employs TN panel but can boast quite an outstanding response time: on gray-to-gray switch, array response time equals to 1 ms only. This is a dramatic breakthrough, if compared with the majority of other gaming displays that demonstrate from 4 to 7 ms time.
