The Launch of Motherboard Big Bang-ZPower from MSI is Round the Corner

On the threshold of international exhibition Computex ‘12, MSI has decided to boil up the interest of the potential customer audience to their new motherboard Big Bang-ZPower. So far, the company has highlighted only a few teasers, giving a superficial concept about their new product. There are not so many details revealed, but it’s definitely known that the motherboard will be based on Intel Z77 Express chips and support processors of Ivy Bridge and Sandy Bridge series.



The new Big Bang-ZPower is called to satisfy the needs of inveterate overclockers who appreciate might, functionality and framework. This model is intended to work with Intel Core i7/i5/i3 processors of the second or third generation in the implementation of Socket LGA1155. NEC Replenishes Its MultiSync Series with MD242C2 Monitor

NEC has replenished its product line with a new 24-inch monitor that joins MultiSync series. Codenamed MD242C2, the model is housed in a case of a rather strict design, featuring 556.8x227.6x378-528 mm dimensions. Upon the whole, this monitor positions itself as the most appropriate solution for medical establishments, providing for an accurate imaging.



Monitor NEC MD242C2 is based on IPS array with LED backlit and 12 ms response time (8 ms in Gray-to-Gray mode). Its operational resolution equals to 1920x1200 pixels, while the display aspect ratio makes up 16:10. Viewing angles, both vertical and horizontal, equal to 178 degrees, brightness achieves 350 cd/m2 and static contrast is estimated as 1000:1. NEC employs 14-bit look-up tables (LUT) to ensure proper color output and more accurate display of gray hues in blackened areas.

Chieftec Developed Dragon DX-02B Chassis for Gamers

A new gaming chassis has replenished the line of PC hardware developed by Chieftec. Codenamed Dragon DX-02B, the model is designed in midi-tower form-factor and can accommodate motherboards of ATX, micro-ATX and e-ATX standard. Internal layout is predestined for the installation of eight expansion slots, and six internal bays for drives which have an access from the frontal panel. Two of those bays support hot swapping option. Besides, the casing contains four bays for 5.25-inch drives.



Dragon DX-02B is able to house graphics cards of up to 34 cm in length. It should be mentioned that one of 5.25-inch bays might be employed for the integration of 3.5-inch drive (external panel or card reader).The model supports power supply units of ATX 2.3/PS II standard, the place for which is stipulated on the chassis' base.
