Greeting a New Powerful CPU Cooler ‘Lucifer’ from Deepcool

Deepcool Industries, an established developer of high-efficient cooling solutions, introduces its new CPU cooler with a horrendous name Lucifer. The hard drive controller is a complex device, a minicomputer with its own processor, a control chip, RAM and ROM, TV recording and reading data, the interface module and the positioning system. It usually presents one or two microchips (in physical form), soldered on the Board, and implementation converting operations in the data flow.

Many modern drives are characterized by a variety of modes, including DMA2, ultra DMA and PIO. In order to take advantage of these modes, it is recommended that you download driver for hard disk controllers. Mode DMA (Direct Memory Access) is useful because it allows you to significantly offload the CPU of the PC during data exchange operations; wherein the controller is in direct connection with the computer interface. In contrast to DMAmode PIO uses the CPU when transferring data through the interface; however, the controller has direct access to RAM.

Sometimes the OS cannot recognize the hard disk controller, even when the installed drivers. The reason for this can be the following:

  • mechanical damages. When strikes or falls the elements of the seal can be deformed. Deformation most often exposed to the interface or contact at the site of attachment circuits. When a minor degree of damage, the device can be repaired, but the life of the elements is greatly reduced. It is also worth considering the possibility of factory defects of the individual elements;
