Review and testing of coolers GlacialTech Igloo H46 PWM and Igloo H58 PWM

The company GlacialTech Inc. known as a producer of cheap cooling systems aimed primarily at the lower and medium price segment. They are intended solely to cool the non-overclocked CPU. At the same time, GlacialTech has already made attempts to produce more efficient coolers that can cope with cooling of processors with high heat. It was the Siberia and Alaska, and F101 even before. Developing on its trend, the company has recently released two new models aimed at the medium price segment. It is about Igloo H46 PWM and Igloo H58 PWM.

Both coolers are available in the same decorated cardboard boxes, each on the right side shows the pictures of coolers and a list of supported platforms. On the other side of packaging there are specifications and key features of cooling systems. Packaging for both models are the same: it includes a steel universal clamping plate (backplate) with an adhesive base, two pairs of mounting with screws and key, two pairs of wire staples for installation …

Monitor LG M2752D Review

Advanced PC monitors currently serve several functions at once, making them a welcome guest in every home. Indeed, up-dated monitors can be used as PC display and as TV-set connected to the computer. LG dared to combine both functions into one product, releasing LG M2752D model. This product is a sensible integration of PC display and TV-set facilities due to the implementation of TV tuner into the monitor framework. This model is based on an advanced IPS array, and boasts a range of brand technologies promoting for better color rendering and brightness.

Framework

LG M2752D is distinguished by the implementation of traditional design. The clipboard contains only the company's logo and sensor of remote control station (RCS). All control elements are located on the bottom-right part of the display; all the elements are touch-sensitive. Unfortunately, there is no lighting for those buttons, nevertheless all manipulations can be realized by means of RCS. The display stand …

MSI Shared the First Shot of Z170A Gaming Pro Mainboard

First displayed at Computex 2015, the Z170A Gaming Pro motherboard from MSI is now available for the web community. The company teases the first shot of the extended ATX model, showing off its main privileges. The new-comer is based on Intel Z170 chipset, intended for Socket LGA 1151-compatible Intel Skylake CPUs. Its key visual attraction is the availability of a stripe with RGB illumination on the right side. The stripe supports 8 working modes and is able to display up to 16.5 million colors.

MSI Z170A Gaming Pro comes equipped with 4x DIMM slots for the integration of DDR4-3300 MHz memory modules (maximum capacity – 64 GB). Storage subsystem is introduced by four SATA 6 Gb/sec ports and a single SATA Express port (compatible with two SATA 6 Gb/sec ports). The socket is powered by a 8-pin connector, whereas the PCB draws power from a 24-pin ATX one.

Furthermore, the connection of graphics cards might be realized via two PCIe 3.0 x16 slots; other expansion cards are …

Yamaha Hard disk controllers, list of models

Choose a model of your Yamaha Hard disk controllers out of 1 items in the list. Our inventory includes approximately 4 free drivers which you can download trouble-free.

The hard drive controller is a complex device, a minicomputer with its own processor, a control chip, RAM and ROM, TV recording and reading data, the interface module and the positioning system. It usually presents one or two microchips (in physical form), soldered on the Board, and implementation converting operations in the data flow.

Many modern drives are characterized by a variety of modes, including DMA2, ultra DMA and PIO. In order to take advantage of these modes, it is recommended that you download driver for hard disk controllers. Mode DMA (Direct Memory Access) is useful because it allows you to significantly offload the CPU of the PC during data exchange operations; wherein the controller is in direct connection with the computer interface. In contrast to DMAmode PIO uses the CPU when transferring data through the interface; however, the controller has direct access to RAM.

Sometimes the OS cannot recognize the hard disk controller, even when the installed drivers. The reason for this can be the following:

  • mechanical damages. When strikes or falls the elements of the seal can be deformed. Deformation most often exposed to the interface or contact at the site of attachment circuits. When a minor degree of damage, the device can be repaired, but the life of the elements is greatly reduced. It is also worth considering the possibility of factory defects of the individual elements;
  • electrical damage. The performance of PC hardware is largely dependent on the stability of the voltage petenera in the system. In case of excess, spikes or sharp cut-off voltage and electrostatic discharge, the fuses of the power supply circuit, power circuits or in the worst case, the controller CPU can burn out. Often the fuses are not repairable and require replacement;
  • outdated driver hard disk controllers. When you upgrade the hardware of the computer (or some components) of a previously installed program requires updates to install the relationship with the OS.
